Psoriasis
Psoriasis, a Natural Drug Free Treatment
I found David and his Institute for Natural Cleansing after just starting the regimen as prescribed by Dr. John Pagano in his book “Healing Psoriasis, the Natural Alternative.” Dr. Pagano’s theory is that psoriasis is the external manifestation of the body’s attempt at getting rid of toxins, and his regimen begins with colon hydrotherapy. At the time when I started this program, psoriatic lesions were covering 75% of my body and were extremely enflamed and painful. In addition to the colonics I received from David, I also started taking the foot detox therapy on a regular basis. Three months later, I am happy to say that the lesions are now gone from my body, lost 30 pounds, and have never felt better in 20 years. I continue to see David once a month for foot detox therapy, and am amazed after each visit how that process works, but believe that it works in ridding the body of those troublesome toxins that the body has difficulty disposing of.
It’s been a real treat and breath of fresh air to work with David over the past 3 months. Not only is he sincere in his approach to healing, but generous with his services. After seeing a handful of doctors over the past year, David was the only health practitioner who seemed to give a damn about my overall health, and was truly committed to helping me heal. Not only did he go out of his way to schedule time to see me, he even lowered his rates so that I could afford to see him as often as I needed to in order to see results. Thank you David for caring like you do, and for your generosity. I will continue to send clients your way, with the hope that they too can experience the healing powers of detoxification.

Here is some information on Psoriasis:
Introduction
Psoriasis is a chronic disease of the immune system that appears on the skin, usually in the form of thick, red, scaly patches. Up to 30 percent of people with psoriasis also develop psoriatic arthritis. Psoriasis is associated with other serious conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and obesity. According to the National Institutes of Health, as many as 7.5 million Americans have psoriasis.
What is Psoriasis?
Psoriasis is a chronic, autoimmune disease that appears on the skin. It occurs when the immune system sends out faulty signals that speed up the growth cycle of skin cells. Psoriasis is not contagious.
There are five types of psoriasis: plaque, guttate, inverse, pustular and erythrodermic. The most common form, plaque psoriasis, appears as raised, red patches or lesions covered with a silvery white buildup of dead skin cells, called scale. Psoriasis can occur on any part of the body and is associated with other serious health conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease and depression.
According to the National Institutes of Health, as many as 7.5 million Americans have psoriasis.
No one knows exactly what causes psoriasis. However, it is understood that the immune system and genetics play major roles in its development. Most researchers agree that the immune system is somehow mistakenly triggered, which causes a series of events, including acceleration of skin cell growth. A normal skin cell matures and falls off the body in 28 to 30 days. A skin cell in a patient with psoriasis takes only 3 to 4 days to mature and instead of falling off (shedding), the cells pile up on the surface of the skin, forming psoriasis lesions.
Scientists believe that at least 10 percent of the general population inherits one or more of the genes that create a predisposition to psoriasis. However, only 2 percent to 3 percent of the population develops the disease. Researchers believe that for a person to develop psoriasis, the individual must have a combination of the genes that cause psoriasis and be exposed to specific external factors known as “triggers.”
